Audition Opportunity for AZ Lottery Commercials

Hey folks, I have an amazing opportunity for all of our actors out there - The AZ Lottery is holding an even January 9th at the Lottery Office - and part of the event is to find new fresh faces for possible future AZ Lottery commercials. If you come to this event Friday Jan - 9th between 10 and 3 there will be several opportunities to get yourself out there. They're looking for all types to come in and show us your stuff. You just have to be at least 21 to do this. There will be people there from the Riester ad agency - and I'd love for them to see the breadth and depth of our AZ talent base. All of the auditions will be seen by the agency. So come on down and strut your stuff. The details are below for what, when, where etc. Tell your friends - repost this to your respective sites. If I have my way - we'll have a thousand fabulous actors show up! This is a goldent opportunity - I have worked with this agency several times now and they DO remember people who impress them. DESCRIPTION:




Why do people play the lottery? It is not because they love the smell of a freshly printed ticket. They play because the lottery provides a diversion. A fantasy. For some a dream come true. In the back of a lottery players mind is a hope that this could be the moment when their life could change with the surprise of millions, or simply provide a little extra cash to pay off bills or take a dream vacation. They play for the WINNING EXPERIENCE. The excitement of the moment- real or imagined when all things become possible.




This is the WINNING EXPERIENCE we will create and capture on film during a live event at the Lottery Headquarters on January 9th.




This Full day event Produced by Riester, in association with Randy Murray Productions is a two fold LIVE celebration for the Arizona Lottery. On this day we anticipate the arrival of winners from the Millionaire Raffle III drawing the night before. They are coming to collect their prize and we are there to celebrate with them in a carnival like environment. It is also the launch of the newest scratcher game Cash Spectacular, which features 10 1 million dollar jackpots from a pool of 100 Million Dollar prizes. The first 100 people to arrive and purchase a Cash Spectacular ticket will also receive a free goody bag.




The event is open to the general public and will feature free food, drinks and entertainment throughout the day. There will be several film crews on hand to capture the event, conduct interviews with winners and gather footage from special performance areas where, as an actor, you are invited to audition for possible Arizona Lottery Commercials in the future.




Performance opportunities include:




“I WON I WON Dance Contest – Everyone has a winners celebration dance within them. Show us your unbridled excitement and dance like you won millions.

SHOW US YOUR BEST WINNER’S FACE – a still photo area where you have the opportunity to give us that moment of surprise or afterglow of the Winning Experience

WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU WON THE LOTTERY – an interview area where you can share the imagined reality of winning the lottery. What would you do with all that money?

GENERAL CROWD Enthusiast – hang with us for the day. Be a part of the crowd. Cheer the winners, applaud the performances and enjoy a great party with dancers, jugglers, tumblers and fun acts featured in the recent Cash Spectacular commercial.




CASTING CALL – WHAT TO EXPECT

If you have an agent, Contact them and let them know you are interested in being on hand for the event. Bring your latest headshot if you have one. Upon arrival at the event, please go to the talent registration and information tent where you will fill out appropriate paper work, including a talent waiver notifying you that a television commercial is being filmed and you may be seen as an extra in the crowd at any given time. You are free to mill about and enjoy the festivities of the carnival environment and participate in the performance booths. ***NOTE*** All filmed or photographed images may be used on the internet and as a participant you are granting permission for this use on the internet. If in the future we select your filmed audition or still photographs from one of the designated Winners Experience Booths to use in a broadcast television commercial, you will be notified and compensated at Scale ($550.00) for one year usage rights for the commercial. SAG ACTOR USAGE fees and regulations will apply for all Union Actors that may be used in the future.




Dress options include everyday casual, business attire or dress as a fan of the lottery (Lottery T-shirt, hat). You must be 21 to participate in the audition events.
