March 2nd: Creating Characters for A-List actors. Let's discuss your favorite characters from the movies, what made them the way they are, and how to make your characters stand out so much that people fight to play them. The right attachment can get your screenplay made.
April 6: Canceled due to the Film Festival
May 4: Writing Great Openings. The first ten pages are the most important of any in the script. Learn why and how to make them stand out.
Meetings are the first Monday of each month at the IFP Offices at 1700 N 7th Avenue • Suite #250 • Phoenix, AZ 85007.
If you can't make the monthly meetings, please come by the weekly table reads at Borders Bookstore at Alma School and the US 60 (just east of Fiesta Mall). Those meetings are every Wednesday at 7:00 PM.
