Hey, guys! Have you heard of the Mark Travis directing workshop coming to Tucson on Aug. 14-16?

We are giving Phoenix ifp members a $20 discount if they preregister!

Students gain techniques Mark has developed from decades of experience in television, film and theatre. Students learn how individual body language and how characters move in relationship each other and the space can illuminate the unspoken desires, needs, fears and fantasies of the the characters. At this master workshop, Participating Directors will stage two-actor scenes in front of the class as Mark coaches. Cost for Participating Directors: $185. (Pre-workshop prep required). Cost for Actors/Directors observing: $100. For registration materials contact: Jana at 520-325-9175, reelinspiration@hotmail.com or visit the web site:www.reelinspiratoin.blogspot.com

OK here is my intro to everyone. I have just joined the IFP in hopes of meeting with and getting involved in the film community in AZ and PHX in particular. I have been writing (for fun) most of my life and I am currently working on my first screenplay. I have written/produced/acted/directed/edited a couple of shorts (while a film student). Spent years away from this game - but just keep feeling the pull back. I look forward to any advice or help that anyone might be able to provide. Thanx a million

Hello Creative Comedy Directors/writers/performers: I am interested in launching a webisode series. I have the idea, I have the outlet, and I have ideas on money making - all I need is some great short skits and quality writing/performing. Please contact Kate Hoy if interested!

Hi all! I am looking for guest actors and short films for a new webisode show. Think 'Twilight Zone' meets 'Tales from the Crypt'. We are in pre-production right now, looking to start shooting in August.

Sounds cool - good luck! Just FYI, the Twitter link is missing a "/" after the ".com" so it errors out. Should be http://twitter.com/6mfor6m in case anyone's interested. :)
