About Me:
I started out as a staff writer for morning radio and later wrote marketing scripts for sales companies before professionally writing and producing corporate training programs for my own video production company. In 1997, I began working on THE VILLIKON CHRONICLES as a motion picture to imaginatively portray the trials and tribulations of mankind. Set against the backdrop of a militarized universe and prison world plagued by moral outcasts, THE VILLIKON CHRONICLES became an award-winning screenplay; an opus that appealed to several genres as a modernized myth. The story transcended cultural and international boundaries and was adapted into a graphic novel (comic book) series published from 2001 through 2003.

Hailed as a unique interpretation of the original screen story, the adaptation was dubbed an incredibly surreal Trade Paperback series, and was revered as an intelligent epic, worthy of master storytellers H.G. Wells, Ray Bradbury, Frank Herbert, and J.R.R Tolkien of LORD OF THE RINGS fame. The series became an international cult success. DIAMOND COMIC DISTRIBUTORS bestowed upon the third graphic novel its coveted "SPOTLIGHT" in their December 2001 issue of PREVIEWS magazine, which is the merchandising Bible of the comic book industry. It was showcased as "not to be missed," and 'an absolute must carry item for retailers to keep in stock." I drafted second and third screen installments, VC II: RITES OF ABOLITION, and VC III: DAWN OF THE KRAMCUTIONERS, and a prequel spin-off titled THE CRUCIBLES OF MYSTERE. The Crucibles project followed the exploits of the female character MYSTERE. She became the most popular character appearing in the comic book series, which (keep in mind) was a rewritten version of an original screenplay.

I've kept the project at the expense of "not selling" the rights on numerous occasions. I know it would have been detrimental to all who have helped this project only to see it taken by a conglomerate that would most likely go on to reap unshared fortunes. Consider I've spent three years on developing this short film based on the epic. It is shaped as a $3-5 million promotional tool but without having spent that actual figure. A list of talents can be reviewed in a credit scroll on the project's MySpace page. I hold all involved with this project as esteemed colleagues.
