- I grew up, as a kid, in the San Fernando Valley. In the summer we could ride our bikes our and invariabley come across a location crew shooting a TV program like /dragnet or Adam 12, or a movie of some kind. So, when we moved here, being retired, I thought maybe working as an extra would be fun and a way to keep me out of the bars during the day. So much for that theory. After my first movie I was told I should try for speaking roles as well as extra work. As a result I have spent more time auditioning/filming at night and on weekends. Go figure. Anyway, I have had the opportunity to meet some really great folks and been part of things I would not have had I not taken this chance. To all of you who have had a part in this new journey.....Thanks.
