- About Me:
- Started acting in the late seventies. Made his first film at 12 years old. Worked in front of the camera until 1990, at which point he got married, got a "real" job, and embarked on a life as a software development executive. After three successful companies and more than two dozen products, Jon realized he missed the creativity in his life. He went back to film, this time behind the camera.
It started as just an outlet, a hobby, but Jon kept learning. He wrote, he directed, he created. After dozens of short films (his and those of others) and four features (someone else's), Jon got the ultimatum: "Make another short film and I kill you."
Well, that was motivation enough.

Let's make a deal!
Sometimes it feels like Monty Hall is right up there asking me to make a deal, but I'm not going for what's behind the next curtain. Let's just open one and be done with it. Why does everyone want to play games?

- Jon: Thank you for the guidance you provided at last September's IFP Screenwriting Workshop and for recruiting P.A.'s at last month's P.A. Workshop. It has been a genuine privilege for me to serve as Key P.A. for your StarQuest production and I sincerely hope I'll have the opportunity to work on one of your future projects. I wish you continued success until then (especially on The Evil Dead Breakfast Club as I am a big zombie fan). :O)

Had a blast making a commercial yesterday for "Auction Systems" to be aired locally in the near future! I put some pics from it on filmixer already and will do the same here soon. It's been a while, way too long really. I've got a hundred excuses, but what the heck! Seize the day!
I wanted to let you know that I'm doing Henry Drummond in "Inherit the Wind" at the Fountain Hills Theater. I've been waiting years to do this role. Looks to be a great show and I'd love to have you see it. Run dates are Thurs. through Sun., Nov. 7th through the 23rd (with a possible extension). I'd also like to talk to you about shooting a 3 to 5 minute scene from the play to add to my Website. Let me know what you think.
Hope all is going famously for you. Let me know what's been happening lately. I feel terribly out of the loop these days . . .
