About Me:
Mack Duncan has been an active performing artist in Phoenix since 1999, and has been a professional educator since 2001. He has a degree in Directing from Arizona State University. At ASU he wrote and performed with The Farce Side and Barren Mind improv. He was a member of the Phoenix ComedySportz team from 99-2002, directing the troupe from 01-02. To date, he has directed three short films: Murder Most Cuddly, Menagerie of Space (screened at the 3rd Annual Int. Horror/Sci-Fi Film Festival and the 2008 Phoenix Comicon) and Big Benevolent Wolf (winner of the IFP Phoenix Winter Challenge). Duncan is the President and co-founder of CareFree Write Productions, which produces The Phoenix Improv Festival (currently in its 7th year). In 2007, he helped launch The Torch Theatre. He has been teaching Theatre Arts at Cortez High School since 2003 and is currently performing with The Torch Theatre’s Apollo 12, The Remainders, and The Phoenix Neutrino Project, as well as the recently formed puppet troupe Die Puppet Die Productions.

Still Time To Sign Up For the Next Set of Torch Improv Classes!!!

The Torch Theatre is proud to offer professional training in improvisation for the theatre.

With a core curriculum based on longform improv, The Torch continues to build strong actors and ensembles in Phoenix, Arizona. Thank You, IFP Phoenix

This evening, I had the very pleasant surprise of winning the award for "Best Writing" in the 4 Seasons Finals.

Our film, "Big Benevolent Wolf," has received far more honors than I ever expected. I would like to thank those who watched the film and still chose to vote for it. Either you have a delicious sense of irony or you're just really sick.

On behalf myself, "Stacy Wolf," and everyone else connected with the project, thank you.
