- Although I have been writing for many years I spent 10 years in the medical field. Finally I decided to change careers and I began writing seriously. I spent two years in my own business writing contracts, correspondence, marketing materials, and market branding for my clients. I spent my off time writing short stories then moved into news reporting for a local newspaper. I had one short story accepted at a start up magazine that never started up.
I have been a volunteer for the International Horror and SciFi film festival for the past four years and the Phoenix Film Festival for one. Making the move from short stories to screenwriting was an easy choice for me, it combined my love for movies and my passion for writing.
