24 Hour Film Challenge

So MSCP participated in the 24 hour challenge. Hopefully what we submitted in is good - I think it is. I feel that our end result was far better than our first short Core Values which was the 36 hr challenge. I feel as a group we have come a long way, despite none of us having any real full knowledge, school or training as film makers. Just was we read and the look and feel we want to present on film. I couldn't be prouder of the group I am with now. Hope to see all of you at the screening on 2… Continue

Mechanically Separated Chicken Parts!!!

That was actually the first ingredient in "Slim Jimms" - I kid you not, and now the name of our 36hour film challenge team this weekend. Kick off is tomorrow night and I can't wait. This will be my first time - yes a virgin - for something like this. I hope it's fun, well see. Still trying to tighten up Mark of Kings, started revisions on Neptune Massive and started writing The San Carlos Project and now researching for Dominion. If you see me at the kick off tomorrow say hi!! Continue

We had a really good read on Wednesday. More new faces and new stories with constructive positive feed back. I still recommend the Wednesday read for those writers that are looking for feedback. Continue

Okay, so I'm still revising and editing The Neptune Massive. I changed the ending due to the fact that the story is still ongoing, I hate the word sequel. Some may not like it, we'll see. The Wednesday table reads are going good and we had two new writers join us this past Wednesday. Now currently writing and developing the ongoing story of the Neptune Massive - title still undetermined at this point. The characters of Mark of Kings are calling out my name and I may have to revisit them as well.… Continue

8/10/08 Disney Deadline Met!!!!

Greetings to all!!! So I finally completed "The Neptune Massive" last weekend and did nothing but revise and edit the story for the aug. 8th deadline. I made it. So now it's off to the next story. Let's see if I'll get a call from them like I did last year. The weekly table reads are going great. We've had good reads these past several weeks and the constructive feedback has been very helpful. Well, I'm off to do research on the next story. Chat with you all again soon. Cheers! Continue

7/12/08 And all is well....

Okay, so this is where I rant and rave about whatever right? Well, I found out about the approaching deadline for the 2009 Disney Features Fellowship and now I'm in motion to complete another script for submission. I'm not doing to bad and have down at least 60 some odd pages. I know I still have a ways to go but with any luck and a couple of beers I'll get the rest completed in time to do revisions and have it post marked by the 8th of August. Well that is it for now. I'll check in very once in… Continue

Sounds cool - good luck! Just FYI, the Twitter link is missing a "/" after the ".com" so it errors out. Should be http://twitter.com/6mfor6m in case anyone's interested. :)
